WHY SEACELL™?
Wearing SeaCell™ has so many benefits. When mixed with Super Cotton, the result is an incredibly soft and very strong fabric, naturally absorbent of moisture, and hugely comfortable to wear.
The fibre, through a patented process, retains vitamins, trace elements, amino acids and minerals that are present in the seaweed and this ecological value is retained even after multiple washing cycles.
Seaweed has long been recognised for its impressive environmental properties. It can grow at an incredible rate and is one of the most effective natural ways of absorbing carbon emissions from the atmosphere.
The seaweed used in SeaCell™ is harvested in the cold and pure fjords of Iceland. The harvesting is a sustainable process, removing only the part of the seaweed that is able to regenerate. It's also guaranteed and certified by a multitude of institutes, including the EU-Ecolabel.
FULLY TRACEABLE COTTON
Inland Sea, our sustainable t-shirt partners, are the first business to import SeaCell™ into the UK and blend it with cotton – making this t-shirt a part of history!
SeaCell™ is blended with Super Cotton, a long staple (fibre) length, resulting in a very strong but soft, luxurious feeling fabric. We can trace this cotton right back to the farmer’s field, ensuring it’s farmed ethically and everyone involved benefits from its production.
The blending takes place in the UK at English Fine Cottons mill in Dukinfield, Greater Manchester, a state of the art cotton mill.

We've teamed up with sustainable clothing brand Inland Sea to produce t-shirts made from a fabric which contains seaweed - the first of its kind to be made in the UK. Like our wines, our t-shirts also benefit our oceans with a contribution to our marine charity partners from every purchase.

We have teamed up with sustainable clothing brand Inland Sea to produce t-shirts using a seaweed fibre called SeaCell™. Our t-shirts are spun at the only commercial cotton spinner in the UK, and the first to be established in this country for more than 50 years. ABOUT SEACELL™ Seaweed has long been recognised for its impressive environmental properties, being rich in essential substances such as vitamins, trace elements, amino acids and minerals. It can grow at an incredible rate and researchers have found that seaweed is the most effective natural way of absorbing carbon emissions from the atmosphere. SeaCell™ is an environmentally friendly fibre that is hugely comfortable to wear. It is produced exclusively from sustainable raw materials and is completely biodegradable. Harvesting of the seaweed is a sustainable process, removing only the part of the seaweed that is able to regenerate. Using a patented process, Sea Cell embeds the seaweed firmly into a cellulose fibre with all of its ecological value being retained, even after multiple washing cycles.

Find yourself a new favourite wine from Sea Change, a social enterprise making waves of change with their eco-friendly wines.
These winemakers are committed to creating exceptional drinks and caring for our oceans in equal measure. Look closely at the beautiful hand drawn illustrations on each bottle and you’ll notice the marine animals depicted have bits of plastic inside, reflecting the effects of plastic pollution.
Keen to be part of the solution, Sea Change put real thought into their own packaging. There are none of those plastic wraps around their bottle tops and the labels are a mix of paper from certified sustainable forests and grape waste too. Even the corks are made from a renewable plant-based material.
Sea Change also gives back to conservation charities who help protect marine animals too, making a donation for every bottle sold. All this adds up to a lot of small ripples of change and one big positive impact per bottle. In fact, they've now donated a whopping €500,000 to charity.
Better still, there’s a great variety in their award-winning range. So you can toast to making a difference whether you’re partial to a prosecco, reds like negroamaro, whites like sauvignon blanc or a rosé.
