About James Lucy
James Lucy is a social enterprise, and watches are the first in hopefully a large range of products that will generate money for them to donate to their panel of charities around the world. They endeavour to always donate atleast 50% of their profits each year to their charities, as voted for by our customers.
The #Time4 campaign is one that they will be running across all of their social media handles to generate interest in the donations they will be giving. Each year, the proceeds will be donated to at least three charities, as voted for by you, their customers, from their list of preferred charities, which we will take recommendations for, from...you guessed it...you, their customers.
All James Lucy straps are 20mm across and can be used interchangeably with any of the watches that they make. Every strap comes with an monogram engraved 316L Stainless Steel buckle that can match the colour of the watch case you choose, be it Gold, Silver or Bronze.
Introducing James Lucy, the social enterprise making classic watches and donating at least 50% of profits to charities.
Which charities they are is up to you, the customer. When you buy a James Lucy watch, you’re asked to vote for your preferred charities from around the world in three sectors – environmental, humanitarian and medical. At the end of the year, profits are shared between the charity in each sector with the most votes.
Through this business model, they hope to change the way we all think about consumerism. They picture a future world where companies giving back to good causes is the norm, baked into policy.
Beautifully designed, every James Lucy watch is also versatile, with a quick release strap so you can change styles in seconds.
Watches are just the beginning, as James Lucy hopes to release more popular consumer products soon.
