This is a very clean, sweet, washed coffee sourced the Primavera coffee, who have long standing trading relationships in Guatemala. This coffee is a medium omni roast; meaning it can be brewed as filter coffee or espresso! Expect tasting notes of chocolate digestives, caramel and light cherry.
This coffee comes Baudilio Lemus, who farms in the south of Guatemala. Baudilio's father first planted coffee trees 62 years on less than a hectare of land and dedicated himself to learning everything about coffee cultivation. Gradually, they expanded their coffee plantings, making steady progress. Around 40 years ago, they began processing their own coffee, and Baudilio has continually refined his techniques to produce the highest quality beans. On their farm, they not only nurture native shade trees but also actively protect small springs and water sources, ensuring the environmental health of the area.

Savour high quality, freshly roasted specialty coffee crafted with care courtesy of the Brew Crew.
Their whole business is built around making a real, tangible difference to producers based in multiple coffee-growing regions across the globe. Their range brings together coffees grown in Guatemala, Brazil, Uganda, Colombia, Kenya and Honduras.
For Brew Crew, sustainable coffee starts with great partnerships. They work with trusted coffee importers that have long-standing relationships with small-scale farmers and prioritise transparency and traceability.
Brew Crew also pays well above Fairtrade prices, to ensure farmers aren’t just earning a fee worthy of their quality product, but enough to invest into greener practices. This keeps things sustainable right at the start of the supply chain.
These impactful roasters also team up with their importers and award-winning NGOs to co-fund environmental, social and agronomy projects in the regions where their coffee growers are based. Funds from every single sale are poured into these initiatives – 10% of retail sales and 5% of wholesale sales to be precise.
Brew Crew continues their commitment to green values once their coffee is roasted and ready for your next brew, by using packaging that’s completely recyclable or compostable.
