The Elvis & Kresse Print Room Wallet is handmade by combining vintage printing blankets and genuine decommissioned fire-hose. The printing blankets are used in the offset print industry and are scrapped as soon as they develop any imperfections. After we re-engineer the material it has a beautiful and tactile matt black finish to it.
Elvis & Kresse donate 50% of the profits from the Fire-hose Collection to The Fire Fighters Charity.
The fire-hose, previously deployed in active duty for up to 25 years fighting fires around the UK, softens with use but doesn't lose its strength. The wallet is lined with reclaimed military grade parachute silk.
Available in red hose with black printing blanket body with or without a coin pocket.

And they save other would-be waste materials too, like parachute silk, tea sacks and leather from the cutting room floor of premium fashion brands. Their five-year partnership with the Burberry Foundation will see at least 120 tonnes of leather off-cuts be remade into Elvis & Kresse accessories.
The brand is built on three pillars: rescue, transform, donate. This last one means that 50% of their profits always go to charities like The Fire Fighters Charity. So they’re giving back to good causes while doing good for the planet.
