Blue Mallow Flower - Loose Herbal Tea
Naturally Caffeine Free
For centuries, Blue Mallow Flowers (Malva sylvestris) were laid down in front of dwellings or worn as a garland for Mayday/Beltane celebrations in England and were known to promote spiritual healing and peace.
Upon being brewed, the flowers yield a delicate mild sweetish tasting infusion with grassy and woody notes. The infusion starts a beautiful blue and when kept for a while turns from blueish purple to grey with a hint of blue.
This tea also contain a mucus like substance which can be used to protect and sooth the throat in case of throat infection and coughs and also help reduce gastric acidity. They are also known to have anti-inflammatory properties.
