HumaniTea
HumaniTea’s vegan tea lattes are here to add a burst of natural, positive energy to your day.
These brews are mindful in many ways. First up, the ingredients are high quality, ethically sourced and all plant-based, made with creamy oat milk in place of regular milk. Each can is completely free from artificial flavours and low in sugar and calories, making it a healthy choice to boot.
Then there’s the social mission behind these tea lattes. HumaniTea is encouraging the nation to look after their mental health through the mantra of “me time, tea time, anytime.” With one in five Brits suffering from mental health issues due to stress at work, this is a call-to-action to take all-important tea breaks and moments of mindfulness throughout the working day.
On top of spreading the word about wellbeing, HumaniTea donates 5% of profits to sustainability and wellbeing initiatives. All this goodness comes packaged up in recyclable aluminium cans, for minimal environmental impact too.
The only question now is, which HumaniTea flavour will your future tea breaks taste of – Matcha or Earl Grey?
Tina Chen is the founder of HumaniTea, AKA the Chief Tea Officer. After three years in technology consulting, she took the first step towards entrepreneurship with an MBA at Imperial Business School, where she joined the We Innovate programme for aspiring female entrepreneurs.
The decision to create a tea business was an easy one, as a Taiwanese-American inspired by Taiwanese bubble tea and British tea drinking cultures. Tina set out to create a healthy, well-balanced tea latte – something that was missing from ready-to-drink shelves.
The result was HumaniTea, a refreshingly positive addition to tea breaks across the country.
