There are estimated to be over 120,000 slaves in the UK today. Holos Kombucha partners with anti-slavery and human trafficking charities and welcomes survivors to work within the business. They also set up the Holos Foundation, a charitable body focused on rehabilitation for survivors.

Through providing meaningful work and support, Holos helps their employees on a journey to wholeness in mind, body and spirit. In fact, that’s the meaning of holos: wholeness.

The unique, delicious drinks are handcrafted in West Sussex, using a signature blend of premium loose leaf teas. Flavours include a virgin mojito-inspired basil and mint, and a ginger and hibiscus that complements your fave East Asian dishes.

Meet The Founder

They say two heads are better than one. Well, how about five? That’s the number of kombucha-loving friends who joined up to make Holos a reality.

The idea started with a chance encounter in Cambodia, where two of the team, Megan and Naomi, witnessed the impact meaningful work could have on people who’ve experienced exploitation.

On the streets of Phnom Penh, they got chatting to Maya. After hearing her story and learning she was a fan of nail art, they bought her a nail kit. It was a turning point: Maya was able to start working and leave her life on the streets behind.

Inspired by this encounter, Megan and Naomi gathered up a team back in the UK with the skills to build a brand and set to work perfecting their kombucha recipe. They’ve been brewing Holos Kombucha ever since.
