India Ysabel is an activist, content creator and student from London. She gained a following through her honest and accessible content on antiracism, intersectional feminism and social justice. As a Black person growing up in a majority white city, India always felt as though activism was not a choice but a necessity. In June of 2020, India started posting her opinions online and thus began the start of something bigger. In 2020, India co-founded The Speak Up Space, an online listening and signposting space for survivors of sexual violence and harassment. The Speak Up Space has helped over 600 survivors since its conception.
