Vegan Bunny
Vegan Bunny creates candles with a conscience. These animal lovers donate 5% of all profits to Viva!, the UK’s leading vegan charity, known for its undercover investigations exposing animal cruelty.
The Vegan Bunny range is natural, sustainable and needless to say, vegan. The candles are made using soy wax instead of animal-based ingredients like beeswax. This plant-based wax is also biodegradable and burns cleaner than paraffin wax. Sounds like a much nicer addition to your home, right?
Beyond ingredient choices, the Vegan Bunny team are an all-round mindful bunch. They show their care for the planet and everything on it by being climate positive.
Big and small adjustments to usual ways of doing business have helped them outweigh their negative impacts with the good. Catch them sourcing supplies locally, dropping off parcels for delivery on foot, supporting a tree planting scheme, using plastic-free, compostable packaging and much more.
Since perfecting their do-good candles, Vegan Bunny has also expanded its collection to include dried flower bouquets. A planet-friendly alternative to fresh flowers that’s just as beautiful.
Their charitable mission has grown too. As well as Viva!, Vegan Bunny has partnered with domestic abuse charity RISE on a special edition candle. Buy the RISE candle and know that 20% of profits are supporting survivors of domestic abuse and violence in Sussex.
Elisa Lubisco studied marketing and worked as a freelancer before making the leap (or should we say bunny hop!) to social enterprise founder.
Promoting brands that didn’t align with her own eco-friendly, ethical values would never sit right with Elisa. Starting Vegan Bunny offered a way to put her marketing and creative skills to work, without compromising on her beliefs.
Helping her at Vegan Bunny HQ is a small team of fellow animal lovers, who share her vision of business for a better world. They include her sister Orianna, with the two of them hand-pouring each and every candle.
