Circular&Co
Introduce more circularity into everyday life with help from Circular&Co., the brand that doesn’t believe in waste.
The clever, green minds behind their range of lifestyle products think up ways to repurpose single-use materials into made-to-last items. It’s creative, waste-saving circular design. And that’s something the world needs more of, if we’re going to get serious about tackling the ever-mounting problem of rubbish polluting our environment.
Each and every Circular&Co. product is recyclable too. So when they do eventually reach the end of their life, the materials can reenter the circular economy and stay well clear of landfill.
To be extra sure products are properly recycled, you can even send them back to Circular&Co. as part of their Takeback Scheme. This is underpinned by the idea that if you make something, you should be prepared to take it back – and give it a new lease of life, in Circular&Co.’s case.
Another of the brand’s core beliefs is that designers can play a pivotal role in helping us humans better respect the planet and live within its limits. They’re inspired by solutions: how can we design and make in ways that help fix the urgent issues affecting the planet?
To them, waste materials are an opportunity as much as a challenge, a vehicle for shaping a more sustainable future. We’re – unsurprisingly – big fans of their positive impact-led thinking.
Circular&Co.’s coastal HQ in North Cornwall, minutes away from the sea, no doubt helps inspire founder Dan Dicker and his team to design products that keep our oceans and the wider environment clean.
Dan, a former Dyson product designer, is a long-time circular design advocate, having started Circular&Co. back in 2003. He’s committed his career to showing the world why closed loop design and the circular economy is a tangible, scalable and sustainable solution to righting our global environmental wrongs.
As well as leading the Circular&Co.’s circular design practice, Dan’s often advising brands on being part of the solution or consulting for international governments.
