All of the 2022 Great Taste Award-winning social enterprise products you have to taste
18/8/2022
If you’ve ever been stuck for how to pick a wine, or, well, any two products really, then the Great Taste Awards will give you a helping hand. That’s because the world’s biggest and most trusted food and drink accreditation scheme is a stamp of approval from food industry insiders.
The awards process sees a panel of over 500 food and drink experts put independent products to the taste-test. These chefs, buyers, food writers and retailers give the thumbs up, AKA a 1-, 2- or 3-star accolade to hundreds of products every year. But the competition is fierce. Winning Great Taste stars is seen as one of the highest forms of kudos from food insiders and that industry nod means more trust from consumers.
This year as ever, the Great Taste Awards were announced with lots of delicious treats to tuck into. And we were delighted to see that not unlike previous years, many of our social enterprise products have made the hotly tipped list.
We’re big believers that just because a product has social impact, doesn’t mean it doesn’t compete on quality, or in the case of food & drink – taste. That’s why we’re so pleased to see this well respected accreditation scheme recognise so many of our impact-led brands.
